members of the Canadian Army Overseas in the service of the British 79th
Armoured Division, the Kangaroos wore standard Pattern 37 battledress uniforms
and accoutrements. To a man, though - as with all other Canadian troops
- they preferred Canadian uniforms, as they were of far higher quality
than their British counterparts.
In addition, being Armoured
Corps troops, they had access to, and used, a variety of clothing and equipment
peculiar to their service...
