| Digital Requirements for Photo Submissions |
| Photographs used in the Gallery are electronically edited, cropped and resized as required. |
Although exceptions will be considered for outstanding photographs, electronic submissions should therefore conform to the following conventions:
- be specifically related to the Regiment or the original Squadron;
- be clear and crisp with good contrast;
- be a minimum of 768 pixels wide to allow for editing;
- proper format should be .jpg with normal compression, at 300 dpi;
- be accompanied with detailed captions identifying date, location, units and individuals as known;
- be submitted via email to the
WEBMASTER in packets no greater than 500 Kb for ease of transmission, along with the donor's name and association (if applicable) with the Regiment.

| Submitting Hard Copies |

| If you have black & white or colour prints which you feel may be of some interest to those viewing the Gallery, we would be delighted to present them on your behalf. We will scan these photographs - a process which does not affect them in any way - and return them to you by Express Mail immediately thereafter. Originals or duplicates are acceptable, but please do not send negatives or unprocessed film. |

as listed above. In addition, we look for originality and detail in content,
and we try to avoid unnecessary duplication of photographs already displayed
in the Gallery. If you have any questions regarding the suitability of

Neither the Webmaster nor 1CACR Association assumes any legal responsibility for photographs submitted to the Gallery; however, every effort will be maintained to preserve and protect all submissions until returned to the donor.

All photographs submitted to the 1CACR Gallery must be original and the legal property of the donor, or clearly identified as to source, e.g. 'Public Archives of Canada'.

Submissions taken from other websites or from copyrighted print publications cannot be accepted without the written permission of the copyright holder.

The Association reserves the right of sole determination on which photos are published herein.

The Association reserves the right to edit scanned photographs electronically for content and clarity.

Those photos selected for publication remain the property of the donor, and are protected by copyrights of both the donor and the 1CACR Association. Duplication for further publication is expressly forbidden without the written permission of both parties.

| Credit for All Donors |

| When any given submission is selected for publication, the Webmaster will in turn credit the donor and/or source by name underneath the large format version of the photograph. |
